Donate $1 to charity

Everyone has heard the stock spiel as you pull out your wallet to pay for something, “Would you like to donate a dollar to… (Go ahead and insert whatever charity that major corporation has adopted)?”  How many people actually do donate that dollar?  I guarentee no where near as many as are asked.

Today, I want you to say yes.  It’s only a dollar.  So you won’t be able to get a soda out of the vending machine at work or school tomorrow.  Big deal.  A dollar may not seem like much to you, but teamed up with others it can go a long way.

Here’s a bonus goal as well: Don’t just donate a dollar, but spend a few minutes on the internet researching the cause your dollar is going towards.  It’ll make you feel good about yourself.
